I bought a used copy of the Prince & the New Power Generation cd. The "symbol" album. All of the other copies I've seen had a gold colored symbol on the cover. Mine looks just like that except there is NO symbol on it! Why? Is it counterfeit? Factory error? Rarity?

Perhaps the orginal was cracked so the person who sold it to the shop put a new cover on it.

Actually, the symbol probably rubbed off the CD case. On my original cassette, the symbol was imprinted in gold on the cassette case and part of the symbol has worn off over time.
