What's Your Favorite Song on Ultimate's Second Disc? I'd have to say "She's Always in My Hair". His vocal on the 12" is impassioned. Full of fire in the second half of the song. It's the only song on disc 2 that I don't get tired of sometimes.
Please note that is not the same question as your favorite 12" in general. Just on Ultimate. [Edited 4/30/06 7:55am]

"Thieves in the Temple" makes me happiest, but then again, it's always been one of my favorite 12" singles.

Housequake and the extended Raspberry Beret has renewed my interest in the song. http://www.goldiesparade.co.uk/ - Prince discography, tour history, news and more.

the whole disc brings back tons of memories. Agreed. Other than the horrible Cream remix and Sheila E Pop Life remix, the whole thing is nice. I'm partial to She's Always in my Hair, Rasberry, Kiss (Extended part), that era is my favorite. I wish there was more from Parade and Around the World. Fantasy is reality in the world today. But I'll keep hangin in there, that is the only way.

the whole disc brings back tons of memories. I don't have many memories of Prince in the 80s, but I love 'em just the same.

I havent opened it yet.
I have all those 12 inches on vinyl anyway. Whats the deal with it anyway i see some web-sites are advertising it with Purple Medley as the first track. Fuck the funk - it's time to ditch the worn-out Vegas horns fills, pick up the geee-tar and finally ROCK THE MUTHA-FUCKER!! He hinted at this on Chaos, now it's time to step up and fully DELIVER!!

I know. I just want Prince to jump on the remaster bandwagon. Rhino would doll up his archive material gorgeously.

Mine doesn't have Housequake on it... My faves are Let's Work and Raspberry Beret. The check. The string he dropped. The Mona Lisa. The musical notes taken out of a hat. The glass. The toy shotgun painting. The things he found. Therefore, everything seen–every object, that is, plus the process of looking at it–is a Duchamp.

She's Always in My Hair closely followed by Little Red Corvette. When I read about the evils of drinking, I gave up reading.

I don't think so...the last time I was at Virgin I asked and they said they weren't getting any more in... The check. The string he dropped. The Mona Lisa. The musical notes taken out of a hat. The glass. The toy shotgun painting. The things he found. Therefore, everything seen–every object, that is, plus the process of looking at it–is a Duchamp.

I don't think any retail places still sell this. I got mine on Ebay Buy It Now for @ 39.00. Kinda steep but I've paid more for bootlegs. It's worth it though. The sound quality is awsome!
