My 7 year old son loves Prince!

3121...his favorite is Get On The Boat, simply b/c we r half Panamanian and Trinidadian...So Panamama brings the drama is his verse! I sure hope he doesn't relate it to me.

On Musicology he loves the title song b/c at that time he was 5 and thought when Prince sings "Sly's gonna take u higher" Prince really was singing "KYs gonna...." His Rottie is named Kyzer.

But since he found out that Prince can play all his instruments, he wanted to a keyboard,(a gift from a great friend) and can now play that! Now he is gearing up for the guitar, after watching Prince preformance on S.N.L. and the Brit Awards.

as someone already said,it's great 2 see the reactions from a kid because they listen without knowing if something was popular or not,10 years old or 20.

Several months ago my 8 year old son asked me if I could make a Prince-MJ CD,
I was really pleased he asked it.Because be4 that,he was only interrested in the hits he heared on the radio,and the only older artist he knew was MJ,because he had been in the (Children)News so often..

He likes BS a lot,though he found the synth a bit anoying at first,and Love,because I told him his dad really loves this song(and it's lyrics).
Same 4 Lolita.
He also likes I would die 4 U,Kiss,Get Off,Cream and some others.
When I was rewinding the tape of The Brits,he saw Prince was on it and he asked me 2 show it.
