BananaCologne was asking me about my memories of the 91 Convention, thought I would post them here for others to add theirs.....
Diamonds & Pearls release party at Glam Slam - we all hired stretch limo's for the evening. Great night and many drinks were had. I remember Bill from Oregon drinking too many Long Island Iced Tea's and crawling back into the limo on his hands and knees with a balloon tied to his butt. Great guy!
Visit to Paisley Park - the infamous dumpster tape! Need I say more? I personally thought it was funny and didn't understand the fuss. Prince's staff had obviously put the cd's in there on purpose. Btw, did any of them work?
Day trip around the Twin Cities - eating lunch at Minnehaha Fals and being attacked by a swarm of bees.
Official convention day at Glam Slam - getting to meet most of the NPG plus autographs.
Leaving Glam Slam one night and going to an unofficial Prince Party at an illegal club. Some shady looking dudes were serving drinks and working the door. Bloodstains all over the wall. I didn't stay long!
