On a UK sketch show called "The Fast Show".
On one episode there was various skits through out the show of a George Fornby type character singing Prince songs and playing a ukulele.
It was quite funny.

I once heard "I Wanna Be Your Lover" in the lobby of a movie theater.

When I was at a Wendy's I heard Little Red Corvette playing on the radio.

"5 women" on a long-distance train. Nothing odd about Prince being on the playlist, but how did "5 women" exactly get on the playlist?

Actually, I thought of a pretty strange place I heard it...just recently when we were moving to Florida, we were driving thru West Virginia and I was flipping thru the radio channels when I recognized "Purple Rain." I kept it on, and then I was shocked at the cruelty of the world when another station began to interfere directly after the first line. I was so mad and I flipped around a little to see if I could find better reception...no such luck. So the strangest place would be the mountains of West Virginia, and it was incredibly frustrating. lol

Was in Vegas last weekend driving down the strip Saturday afternoon. We were listening to this obscure R n B station and on comes "What Do U Want Me 2 Do?" All I could say was "Hey!" It didn't seem to fit the format they were playing but I was happy nonetheless that he was getting played somewhere! BTW, this also happened to be the same weekend P was spotted at Club Rio - and I was there!!! So weird...of course this will matter to no one but me
