"Last December" is good too. I especially like the line about "in your life did you just give a little or did you give it all that you had? Were you just somewhere in the middle, not too good, not too bad?" Great stuff. He's practically saying it's better to be extremely bad than to be mediocre. That's a daring statement. "In This Bed Eye Scream" is a very good one too .

Not kiding. That question about why everybody has a bomb is a real profound question. I think that "1999" is Prince's most prophetic song. Anybody else also think the same? .

God there's so many...
I love songs like 'Starfish and Coffee' and 'Housequake' because they're so childlike and imaginative. I mean how the hell did Prince come up with the word "Housequake" yet it's brilliant.. ....and "shock-a-loc-a-boom" !!!! I also love ]Sometimes It Snows In April] because sometimes it does. Sometimes there is no reason for things happening and that's just the way life us. I think it's a great way of saying that. I also love 'Sign Of The Times' because it is one of Prince's most purest and simplist songs. It's put together so well. Everything is captured in that song and it has all those little unique turns of phrase that Prince does so well. Like ryhming 'France' with 'chance' and 'fun' with 'gun'. And I love the goofy little rap at the end. I also love 'Alphabet Street'. I mean where the hell did he come up with the idea for that song? Why did he think Alphabet Street? I love the line "Put the right letters together we'll make a better day". Also I love his humour. Like Raspberry Beret. I love the line: 'Seems that I was busy doing something close 2 nothing But different than the day before That's when I saw her, Ooh, I saw her She walked in through the out door, out door' As ONLY girls can..... [Edited 4/29/06 7:28am] Shut up already, damn.
