On Billboard he went from number 13 to thirty.

Slid even further this week in the UK charts.
Though, thinking about past experiences, I don't see promotion doing much to help. Prior to the awesome Brits performance, the last bit of Prince promotion I remember seeing over here was the truly awful Spice-Girl Mel B interview. Stomach-churningly bad, and guaranteed to win Prince ZERO new fans ... "So Prince, like, whats your favourite colour? teehee" "So, do you like, you know, Dancing?" And there was worse ... | |

After the Mel B interview/Cafe de Paris gig broadcast, he was on TFI Friday in 1999 doing Baby Knows & Prettyman, on TOTPs doing Baby Knows, a short interview broadcast on BBC2, and The Greatest Romance on the Tube anniversary show. And of course, that album just LEAPT up in the charts after that promotion... not. | |

To have really done anything in the charts there should have been at least 2 singles releasede b4 the album & i dont mean TE AMO!!
If he had got tunes like Word or Love or Fury out there & playin on the radio then maybe it would have sold a few more copies but i doubt he cares especially as it still went 1 in the US Live4Love
