I HATE THIS LYRIC!!! Everytime i hear it it makes me cringe...It just sounds so outdated..Like the lyrics should have been used in the 80's or 90's. And it got me thinking..am I the only one who hates this line?

So how about we redo the lyrics.....What would you use instead of "Its going down like the wall of Berlin".

Mine:

"Its going down...like my face on your muff."

i actually liked the song at first ... then .... i caught this lyric like the second time he says it during the song ....

i had the same thought ... like .... ugh ... awkward lyric .... its the BERLIN WALL DUMMY ... ... not the wall of berlin ...

always reminds me ... of in college ... when someone said "frat" .... the fraternity boys would always say .... you dont call your country a c____ do ya ???

It is a cringeworthy lyric.
It doesnt have anything to do with the song.It made me think that he had
maybe been sitting on a rough draft of it since the late 80's.
But im sure germans will love hearing Prince mention a German city in a song.

What where the differences between the east and west berliners?
