There are some obvious similarities to Prince such as the 'cosmic talk', the name change, even some song titles seem inspired by Prince. Say what you will about Sananda but you can't fault his singing. | |

Maybe it's true that when you're so incredibly gifted in one area, something's going to be lacking in another. It's cool though. Whatever "floats the boat". I actually think sometimes P has his tongue in his cheek (and sometimes, embarrassingly he doesn't) - it's often hard to tell. I've always found that TTD take shimself WAY too seriously and basically lacks humour. "We've never been able to pull off a funk number"

It's funny reading through some of his interviews, but I really don't think he is that loony. I think he just likes to decorate his comments with esoteric and mystical analogies. Much like his lyrics. He's mentioned before that many of the arrogant remarks he made early on in his career were simply to get people talking about him and drum up some attention, they weren't meant to be taken to heart.
However, after seeing the look in his eyes on the Angels & Vampires cover, you do get the impression that he's a few fries short of a Happy Meal. LOL. | |
