Overated:

-"TGE", a solid album but half the album is very bubblegummy, "gold", "dolphin", "march", "now"
-"Parade", I know its a personal ORG fav, but I never really got into it, "do you lie", "venus de milo"

Underated:

-"The Vault", completely under appreciated,"when the lights go down", "there is lonely"," 5+ woman", "sarah",
-"Batman", a personal fav...dont know why it got so much hate, vicki waiting, electric chair, lemon cruch, the future, batdance
-"musicology", "a million days", "call my name", "cinnamon girl", "on the couch", "reflections", "dear mr. man" alot riskier than TGE IMO.

Purple Rain: Great album but its everybodies Prince reference point. Even those who really don't even know the album.

Lovesexy: love this CD but....

Dirty Mind: Fun quick and Fresh but is this really a more accomplished album than musicology or TRC? not by a country mile.


Underated

N.E.W.S: to experimental for most folks. For those who love the musician more than the pop star


TRC: One his greatest works.


Emancipation: 36 songs 3 hours and Prince's greatest expression of Love


Batman: Prince changes sounds (again) overlooked because of the commercial aspects. Start of the dry electronc-industrial sound.

I have N.E.W.S 4 u guys.....there is NO such thing as an overrated Prince album. All of his albums are underrated. I'm serious.
