Last Prince song to get much Radio play

The last song I remember hearing on the radio over a couple times is Gold and that was way back in 1994. Why has the radio avoided playing a new Prince single since, especially something as radio-friendly as Black Sweat? Call My Name and Musicology didn't get any airplay where Im at, Nebraska. Emancipation and Rave had songs that should have got some rotation also but didn't.

Disspointing, especially when Madonna and MJ drop songs the radio plays them.

Extremely disappointing. The last time I heard Prince on the radio was in 2004 with Musicology. The last time I heard him on heavy rotation was in 1994 with The Most Beautiful Girl In The World.
I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that

I hear "Cinnamon Girl" a lot here in Lexington. The classics are always in heavy roation on our 80's stations. The Urban Station here in town has been spinning "Black Sweat" & "Fury" a lot lately as well. Maybe with corporate backing we may hear a couple other songs start popping up. shrug

Aside from his hits from the 80's the Chicago stations last played
Call My Name on the regular. They suck here when it comes to Prince.

"Call my name" was in heavy rotation in Detroit on two urban stations.
They played this song forever.

"Te Amo Corazon" was played mildly on our jazz station
107.5fm which isn't a very popular station around town anymore...they were big in the 80's and early 90's, now the station caters to old jazz heads!

You guys still listen to radio?

I play the HELL out of my CD's (at work) and
IPOD at home and while I work out.

I've got no need for radio other than background
noise while I'm getting ready for work.
Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind.

May I suggest SIRIUS, US and Canada. I am not sure about XM, but I am sure they play a lot of Prince also.
