Slave 2 the rhythm and Purple Reign by Liz Jones

Can anyone tell me if these biographies are actually the same book but just under different names? Because the author is the same. Thank you!

I have both- they are the same book. I believe that Slave may have an updated chapter that isn't in Reign, but I may be mistaken!

yep the same just different covers and one is purple underneath and the other sort of a deep red. slave to the rhythm ıs more modern looking with an Emancıpatıon era pıc and embossed symbol on it where as the other has early 90s possıble later 80s pic on it personally I like Slave to the Rhythm as I have both. But they are a good read very facinating especially if your a mayte fan like urself and i.

I own Purple Reign so I just had to figure out if this is the same book. Honestly I think this book has a lot of innacturacies. And I hate how the author jumps from one time period to a totally illogical era...I mean...it was kinda hard to follow...also when a biography doesn't go in chronological order it is kinda hard to know how this person ended up that way or what was going on at the time. It just kinda makes the subject look ridiculous.

Do you know any prince book thats 100% accurant? I found it fancinating iot recieved good reviews here in the UK as i remeber as thats how i found out about it. Its soem how different to the rest of prince books i remeber reading one book that describes a picture of mayte as maybe wendy or lisa hahahahaha

I don't think they could all be 100% trustworthy...but I thought Per Nielson's book DMSR was the best bio on Prince that I ever read.

I bought slave fresh and thought it was excellent, although its not as juicy as Prince the first decade and that later Alex Hahn prattle. Actually one of the better books is the historically out of Print, Prince a pop life from 1989 by Dave Hill which has intimate detail up to the Lovesexy Europe tour.
