FURY VOCALS NEED TO BE RERECORDED TO BECOME A HIT !

After seeing the SNL and Brit Awards performance of FURY I was blown away ! I couldn't wait to hear the studio version on 3121 , this song was cool as shit ! Then on 3/21 I went directly to that song to hear the studio version on 3121 and couldn't believe how terrible the vocals sounded. The excitment and "Fury" of the live performances was missing in Prince's voice.The instruments wash his voice down to a whisper. It sounds like he's reading the lyrics off of a piece of paper . If this song is going to be released as the next single I say do a remixed version or release the SNL live performance as the single. I am a major fan of this song but very disapointed with this studio version.

This happens a lot, this disconnect between studio and live versions -- and not just with Prince.

That's the gift of live performance, moments that transcend the original material.
