LOVESEXY AND THE MOMENT I WAS GRIPPED I was just thinking the other day how I was gripped by the part of the show where When u were mine kicks in then little red corvette/controversy/dirty mind and bobgeorge. I remember watching a programme on channel 4 that was showing this Dortmund gig and thinking Omg what the hell was that.
Never in my life had i seen the like of them magically 7mins or so.Yeh sure the rest of the show cool as well. What was your magically moment that sucked u in EVEN IN THE SUMMER TIME | |

My all time favourite Prince gig and probably my favourite era.
Prince could do know wrong then and dare i say his band then was better than The Revolution. Even the clothes he was wearing back then were just so strange but bloody fantastic, only Prince could! Fuck the funk - it's time to ditch the worn-out Vegas horns fills, pick up the geee-tar and finally ROCK THE MUTHA-FUCKER!! He hinted at this on Chaos, now it's time to step up and fully DELIVER!!

So many great moments in Lovesexy that its difficult 2 define one moment as the greatest,4 me it is a series of individual moments peppered throughout the show that stand out 4 me. Some examples of this;
If I had a harem-the singular guitar notes that knock Cat and then Prince off their feet, The way Sheila turns 2 look at P during Alphabet Street after he's been standing behind her a while, The intro 2 Head,done in silhouette, The piano segment-especially where he jumps from the top of the piano as When 2 r in luv kicks in 4 real, ...I could go on 4 ever...but I'll stop now  Time is a trick.... | |

The crazy dance routine to "Erotic City". You know with Prince in the middle. The bit where he does the piana meddly and pulls up the microphone singing "When 2 R In Love" and stands of the piano. Then jumps off twirling the microphone. The bow and the smile at the end of "Alphabet Street"....(That kills me !) [Edited 4/21/06 12:07pm] Shut up already, damn. | |

To date....the best show I have ever been too...
The opening with erotic city, Prince pulling up in the car.... The flowers blooming at the beginning of the second act, yes the second ACT!!!! The flags rising from the stage for 1999..... Shelia E on drums.... Bob George, the swing set..... Dear god the piano suite....strange relationship, anastesia I have beent to hundreds of concerts, and this one always stands out. Simply amazing!!!! | |
