ONA live from Vegas DVD Got a chance to watch this again yesterday night...had some thoughts to share with you..
1) Prince looked like he was having fun. He had a good band for this tour 2) He has a great sense of humor..watch how he introduces Maceo.. 3) He makes some strange faces when he sings the blues (the ride)..and when he plays guitar.. 4) I'm glad evenings like this were captured for prosperity. i think it says something when a concert video looks and sounds as bad as that one does, and i *still* enjoy watching it over and over. i guess years of bootleggage has trained me well.  | |

I didn't think it was that bad looking/sounding really? i think the camera work is pretty dodgy, and i hate how the sound levels keep going up and down. | |

i bought this when it first came out, and that copy was crap, it kept cutting in and out and the sound was shit so i got rid of it. then a few months ago something made me buy it again, i think just to have it in my possession was all, but this copy is great, same show, but it sounds like a soundboard recording. niether copy was a bootleg, bought them both at wal-mart noituloveR lautiripS weN a fo gninwaD eht si sihT | |

If there ever was a missed opportunity in Prince's career, it was this one, IMO. I guess he was just to over with the whole thing already to make more than a half decent release out of this. | |
