I think it would be a great idea for him to visit this site.Unlike his own site,this place is "uncensored".He will get the chance to hear his fans' REAL opinions and concerns.

I mentioned this in another post but I will mention
it again if you don't mind.
Whether Prince personally visits or not, I don't know,
but I know he's aware of some of the things that are
said about him and his friends.

I got to know one of the elders from theChanhassen
Kingdom Hall. We talked on several occasions. We had
an especially long conversation after the last concert.

Among other things, I asked him to pass on some
very positive experiences that I have had with people
here on the Org concerning religion. He thanked me
and said that he would certainly pass them on to
Prince, Mani, Larry and Tina.

I then asked him to encourage them not to take the
very negative comments personally. The elder then told
me that Prince does not care about the negativism, that
he is determined to do what he is going to do. But he
added that he personally can not stand the false
accusations that are made. I told him that there were
several of us who try to answer legitimate questions that
come up. He smiled and said excitedly, "Then I have
probably read some of your comments!"

So yes friends, Prince and his family and friends are
aware of the Org. They have probably read some of your
posts...maybe even checked your profile.

Well, if Prince does check out Prince.org from time 2 time, he sure don't take anyone's advice!!! Even though he is more accessable these dayz and his home is our home 4 a week, he still has yet 2 do what ppl really want. 4 example, why would he release a jam that a hardcore fam would like but the main stream audience was not ready 4? He has 2 hit the world with something like "Hypno-Paradise" or "Supercute"!!! When ppl on Prince.org express feelings such as mine, he reads, I'm sure, but doen't listen!!! Never the less, he is slammin like no other and I'll take whatever he dishes out.

uh... have ya'll not seen the "thank you" post in the celebration posts? It's from the four main Paisley Park staffers that dealt with the fans(including Damon). I think that Prince is well aware of prince.org.

He probably doesn't have much time to look at it, though.

Sensualmelody, I'm just wondering what Prince thinks about you coming onto the org and giving out somewhat personal info? Letting people know that if they talk to the elders, they will find out things like if Prince reads the org. If he wanted us to know, he would have told us.

I think sharing your experience with the elders is something exciting and worth sharing. Sharing the details about Prince, when he wasn't even there, I think is possibly crossing some boundries.

Yes. Prince has been here. When his father died, fams said they were going to go to the funeral. The message said:

Well, I think that Prince has visited the org before. I remember when the NPG site used to post questions,comments or ideas about subjects and we used to discuss them in detail here. I also remember reading comments or parts of comments by some org members that somehow worked their way into the NPG site.

Hmmm, my guess is that Mr.Nelson would have to approve of the posts/commentary that is printed on his website.

I also don't think that SensualMelody crossed any boundaries at all. However, I do remember when someone once posted information about the property that Prince owns,along with the addresses and more. Sure, that may be of public record but it really isn't something that should have been posted her for the fams to read. Not unless ya'll thought you would grab your sleeping bag and have a sleepover at Prince or Larrys house.

I'm sure his staffers and friends probably take a little peek once in a while, but I seriously doubt he bothers with this place. There are a lot of people on this site who appreciate him, his music, and his positive energy. But face it, Mia Wallace hit it right on the button: there are a bunch of people on this site who are basically negative, hate-spewing, crude morons. If I were Prince (and I'm not ...really, I'm not, yeah, that's it, yeah) I wouldn't bother exposing myself to so much negativity. My $.02

These people you describe are still fans, they simply have a different viewpoint to u... and that viewpoint is just as valid as yours, Prince can never satisfy all the people all the time but surrounding himself with constant "yes" men and women and fawning fans lavishing praise on the guy when, at the moment, he really doesnt deserve it, wont do the guy any good at all creatively.
...And really... I dont think Prince has anything to learn about being negative, crude, hate-spewing and moronic from his fans.
