Van Hunt mentions Prince as a hero on Tavis Smiley Show Mods can move this if Non-Prince is more appropriate.
Aired here in NYC a couple hours ago, there was a brief interview segment where Tavis asked something about what measures Van took to beat the sophomore jinx. Van replied, "Get closer to the people that I call my heroes, musical heroes like Sly, Prince. Just tried to make a record that could stand along some of their best work. I'm not there yet but I'm gaining." | |
