With 3121 claiming billboard's top spot on the hot 200 and rnb album charts, radio just may take a second look at Prince's latest single. This is the time that we call our local radio stations and help turn that song into the hit it deserves to be.

Some of you, I know, don't think it's that great of a song, but it is by far the most marketable single Prince has released since The Most Beautiful Girl in the World. Between the albums success and us hitting the phones, we could resurrect Black Sweat...

I would move on to a new single and video ASAP.

Radio has had 2 months to jump on Black Sweat , it aint gonna happen

prince must not be too concerned about single sales, since a) the retail singles are one-track CDs with absolutely NO incentive to buy them if you already have the album, and b) the two opportunities he had to push "black sweat" on tv appearances, he chose not to perform it.

i'm not really sure what the marketing strategy is here.
