I really like 3121 and I think in many way Prince is trying sound even more the Michael Jackson on a few tracks.

i dont think artists of this stature would think about imitating other artists. They have a life times of work behind them with their own unique styles, why would thjey try to immitate others?

i think they both have good voices, but you notice it more with prince songs as mj songs are more pop and beats orientated.

i think the best track highlighting mj's voice is butterflies from the invincible album.

i havent had chance to lsiten to the new 3121 album. but i have heard Black Sweat. its not the kind of prince music i appreciate, i like his more spiritual instrumental work as opposed to this pop music.

The only song that sound like it could be an MJ song is Love. It kind of sounds like "Scream" at the beginning.

The other songs don't sound like anything MJ would sing. Do you really think he would sing a song like Incense and Candles?

The great thing about Prince is that when he sings love songs about women, you don't go "Yeah, right Prince, you're really into women".
And MJ can't even come close to Prince's brilliance as a musician.
And even though Prince has performed some MJ songs live recently, something even MJ doesn't do anymore, I doubt Prince sits around the studio thinking Hmmm, how can I copy that ugly-ass pedophile? Just ain't happening.
