They were a bit off with the date of 1999 coming out the same year but I heard the song was rereleased in 1999 in England. The album 1999 is a great party album. Some songs go on for 7-9 minutes. So if you like long funk workout jams then this one is for you. I like to think that without 1999, there would be no Purple Rain. I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". Isn't that something? 30 albums! How many artists have given barely half of that in their entire careers? That's amazing. We are really fortunate to be a fan of someone as prolific as Prince. I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that | |

Dont overlook Prince's early works with Vanity6, the Time and Jill Jones..alot of the cd's are out of print, but some songs he's written under the name Jamie Starr can be found. Try them out | |
