Prince Of PaisleyPark is an extended documentary on Prince from 1988 (?). It has some great footage from Prince working in the studio with Mavis Staples, a rehearsal from 1988 playing The Ladder on piano and much more. It truly is a must-have-seen for Prince fans. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

It is a great documentary on Prince and it had interviews with some of his friends I believe Terrence Trent D'arby was 1 of them . I haven't watched it in awhile. But if I can recall Prince was rehersing a song with Mavis Staples "God IS Alive." It was this song that I always wanted him to record and put out for us. So Good ! | |

The Prince of Paisley Park was another name of the D&P-era compilation of interviews, rehearsal & performance footage that ended with Prince performing The Ladder as the credits rolled. Eric Leeds, Levi Seacer Jr., Sheila E & many more are interviewed, among others. | |
