3121: I must say i skip the title track the most

After having the 'real deal' in my home for at least a week, i must say i tend to skip the opening cut / title track often.

'Soundwise' this track is referring to his classic material: the camille tracks on Sign, there is even a short howl that seems to be taken from the track 'Crystall Ball' and some 'coughing' sound that reminds me of Raspberry Beret, but in the end the song itselve is not that strong, a bit boring even.
As some folks stated before its more of a jam, then a song. I agree with that.

In general, i have the feeling that Prince has put this track on the record because he seems to know that the die-hards like this kind of sonical experimentation (the camille-voice, the sound-effects), but he did forget to use an interesting composition for it.

On the other hand i notice Te Amo Corazon is growing on me, i must say these bridging horn-lines sound magnificent, combined with the percussion they bring subtlety and warmth to the arrangement. The melody line is quite mediocre i think, but the arrangement is bringing compensation for that.
