I vote for the "The Word" What U guys think?! Simply because I love

his voice on this song!!

I think it should be Love. It's getting warmer and it would be a Hot spring/summer song.

I think the public's perception is that Prince is just a religious weirdo these days. "The Word," despite the fact that it is a good song, would only re-enforce that image. People want the old Prince back. So if he's looking to hit the top 40 again, the only two options are "Lolita" and "Love". I think "Lolita" has a stronger hook and is more reminiscent of the early 80's sound he's associated with--so that's what I'd push for if I was the Universal exec with the unenviable position of trying to tell Prince what to do.

I agree that it's gotta be "Love" or "Lolita." I could see either of them doing well on the charts.

I think a live version of "Fury" should be released.

"Lolita" and "Love" would be good choices too, as would "Incense and Candles".

The fact that this album seems to have an abundance of options is evidence of its potential for mass appeal.

They won't play a religious song, so I'd say Lolita, then fury, then Incense And Candles.

Why has everyone given up on Fury? American's love that one.

Fury's lyrics are just plain weak. The mainstream will not care to figure out what he is talking about. With this strong of a title and hook the lyrics should have gone the route of "Anotherloverholeinyohead". Now at the risk of getting off subject, I think he blew a shot at making "Fury" a good mainstream single by making it too personal...and the guitar work on the cd is suspect!! There.. I said it.

For now, it's got to be 'Love'. Don't know about 'Fury'... I've come to appreciate the album version of it, but I still don't know about the guitar in there. Nice to see him have a different approach at it for once, but the solos really aren't anyting more than a rumbling mess, IMO.

Lolita (album edit 2 min 45 sec) would be a sure pop hit with old and young.

Love or Lolita...The Word, which is the catchiest thing he has done in years, would be a little heavy for general audiences.
