Im curious to see what ppls opinion of it is now, after a few days, but without the waffle- Mods please dont lock me out, the discuss sticky threads take ages to trawl through.

I'd say 3. I love Prince. If I didn't, I'd probably give it a lower score. LOLITA should've been the first single released. It's a fun ditty which would've played well on MTV. But for some reason, Prince has these suicidal tendencies. Te Amo Corazon? Black Sweat? BLB -- isn't too bad. But it only picks up toward the end of the song. I give the cd a 3 because there were 3 really great songs on it. LOLITA, FURY and GET ON THE BOAT!

Standouts: The Word, 3121, Lolita, Get On The Boat and Fury.

Weakest Cuts: Satisfied & Te Amo Corazon, but all cuts are listenable, unlike Musicology.

3.5 but growing.....i'tll probably max out @ about 4 for me. Not a pop man...TRC, ONA, Xpectation, and N.E.W.S. r more 2 my taste.

incense&candles, te amo, the dance, bl&b not so much.

I really dig this album. Seems as if he took a double album and cut out
all the filler and left us with this.
