Satisfied This song has something. I know every Prince album has its "Satisfied" but I think what that means is he has made an ode to ole school R&B ballad in a Motown way. In that sense he has never really captured it until now.
I think this is a very strong song. Its so simple yet has that catch. Damn straight up this album is impressive. Classic.

I think when it's all said and done, this song will remain one of the strongest left standing on 3121.

I actually find it the weakest song on the album. Don't hurt me, I'm a newb. I'm supposed to be stupid.

by a country mile , its devoid of anything memorable , just like On The Couch was , but hey ho if Prince tries to sing seductively about sex some people still get wet over it I guess Check out Chocadelica , updated with Lotusflow3r and MPLSound album lyrics April 2nd 2009 :

its not bad, quite soulful and sexy, but a bit of fluff compared to the deep satisfaction of the previous three tracks especially the high tempo floor filler thats Love. Its a creamy ballad, but lacks authenticity with lines like "turn off your cellphone" whats romantic about that? 17 Years ago I made a commitment to Prince

It's as if Prince thought, I want to make a slow jam that's entirely about pleasing HER, not me. Which is a noble thing, very sexy and generous. And the WORDS are there, but the feeling isn't.

Its very Al green in my opinion. The squeels etc seem a little too rehearsed and as ive mentioned before a few backing singers and not his voice multitracked would have sounded so much better and given it a live effect.
I actually like the "turn off your cellphone" part - makes it contemporary

I dont like these type of Prince songs. It just comes off as corny.

I really dig the song. It was first one that I remixed because it's way to short.

when it first started playing..I thought it was on the couch..they start off exactly the same...and the riffs are alot alike.
i like this one though....better than on the couch..and i find incense and candles/the dance to be the weakest...but that is IMO that is one things that make Prince's music so great..he can "satisfy" so many different musical tastes. i mean, how many artists can put out an album where someone will prefer a few trax..then skip others..and vice versa? Not often...even people that listen to different genres (like our young rapsters nowadays)...even like Prince's music....it really is totally amazing. good example, my and his best friend ONLY listen to rap...but when we went to dinner the day 3121 was released...i said sorry guys....momma's cd is going in the changer tonight...and they totally dug it, and wanted to keep listening!

I like this a lot more than on the couch, although they're comparable.
It'd be cool to put all the ole scholl soultry ballad on one album. Hmmmm.....
