3121 UK CDs faulty?

Maybe there is something wrong with those CDs pressed for the UK?

Track 1 = 69 minutes long! - it is the whole album in one track (a bit like what was done with Lovesexy)
Track 2 = blank
Tracks 3 - 12 are all fine and can be ripped as expected.

Very strange.

Fuck the funk - it's time to ditch the worn-out Vegas horns fills, pick up the geee-tar and finally ROCK THE MUTHA-FUCKER!! He hinted at this on Chaos, now it's time to step up and fully DELIVER!!
woot!

I remember an old, no more used copy protection, that had the same result, when playing the cd into a computer cd-rom drive.

But as far as i know, 3121 has no copy protection. Sounds like a fault.
Did u check other players?

Yes, I have tried it in different computers, same thing.

I guess I'll have to treat it like Lovesexy, listen to the whole album as one single long track. Oh well - it'll force me to stop skipping around and enjoy it in sequence like Prince intended!

Let me know if anyone has same problem or finds a solution.

Ripped my copy to my mp3 player with no problems - listened to it many times since and it works fine.

3121 is 54m long in any case isn't it?

I have managed to rip it into individual MP3s!

Just used Media Player, and cancelled the rip at well-timed intervals, breaking it up into individual tracks. All good except I got tracks 1 and 2 (3121, Lolita) as one single MP3 but oh well, rest is all broken up now.

Odd that I'm the only one so far with this issue, wonder if I got a duff CD or something.
