I have a very sensitive ear. I hear things in peoples' voices that are over looked by all others. I believe every sound is a dripping wet clue as to what is being expressed.

Saying that I say this. We, those of us not saviy enough or the ones with all the control, only have a Week left before the unvailing of 3121 in all its sterophonic glory.

I understand there isn't much diffrence to too many between a crap ass MP3 or wmv, or poorly ripped wav file, but to some of us there are.

So raise your glasses to all our asses that only have a week to wait.

I'm no puritan - I was just too damn lazy to bother with the downloading.
And I like reading all the reviews from the fans before I hear the cd.
After hearing how much people hate/love all the songs I am now ready to listen up.

personally i'd rather download free good quality music
than go buy it and support a decrepit system

in the meantime i guess artists will need to look at how to maximise the quality of the mp3's they release so we can ditch the old system completely

MP3 have several frequencies Dropped out, because it is assumed that they can not be heard under the over frequencies, however that doesn't mean they should just lop thos frequencies off. True Musicians Mix frequencies like a Cook. I believe it would be like leaving out one spice because the salt flavor is the dominate taste.

As for the difference in CD/MP3: Of course there is a difference and everyone can hear it but if you're only listening to mp3's your ears will acclimate to those and you'll forget what you are missing. Until you hear the real thing again, that is.
