I went to Target and Circuit City this morning. Neither of them has it, even though I showed them that both of their ads listed it. But then, I live in a tiny little town, so no one knows shit here anyway.

I stopped by one Target in Chicago. The clerk said they didn't get any. I called another Target in Evanston. They don't have any. I'm about to call a Best Buy and see what they tell me.

Well I went to Target and the guy was just putting up a sign saying it was “postponed.” I Chuckled and asked if they had any in the back? He said “Well if we did we could not sell them anyway.” And I told him I knew it had been canceled and he just looked at me.

Then it was off to best buy, the said “oh yeah we have it right over here.” But as it turned out no such luck. He asked if I wanted to leave my number I said “no it was canceled” and he asked “then why did you ask us to look for it?” I shrugged and said “I was hoping you did not get the memo.”

I just looked on amazon.com and they are saying the release date is 3/28. I have called around to music 4 less and Sam Goody and they don't have it either. I am so disappointed.

Okay, so I called this semi-shady record store in Detroit who have been known to sell new releases as early as the Thursday before they come out and even they said it got recalled with no new release date set. I think we're all gonna be SOL on this one.

I know a shady place here in Chelsea. They sold me the Purple Rain/Under The Cherry Moon/Graffiti Bridge DVDs the week before they were officially released. I'm gonna go look right now.
