3121 Title Track-the funk is back! As Dave Chappelle would say "it's a clebration bitches"! 3121 title track is one of the funkiest sounding Prince tunes of recent years. There are some great songs on the new album (The Word, Get On The Boat) but the title track steals the show as far as I am concerned. Deep, funky and hedonistic this is the Prince that I have always loved. I dig it when he's bad! | |

im going to post on this before it gets locked.
It is very funky one of my favourites so far. My only dissapointment is the lack of ballads. im not really getting into the ones that are on it. Fuck the funk - it's time to ditch the worn-out Vegas horns fills, pick up the geee-tar and finally ROCK THE MUTHA-FUCKER!! He hinted at this on Chaos, now it's time to step up and fully DELIVER!!

I feel the same way, Satisfied isn´t really that exciting, sounds a lot like On The Couch ( and I can´t stand that song, always skip it). But what about The Dance ? I am happy beyond control that there aren't too much ballads on there!
The few that are on there are nice (Satisfied), good (TAC) and mega-brilliant (The Dance). The rest is all FUNK! 555-4444 you're on coffee talk. | |
