I can imagine that Orgers often wonder what would have happened if certain situations like this new release or something else took place in another era .

How i see it , is that 3121 is a result from many years of experience in the music-biz .

The entertainment industry has changed so much . In the 80's and partly the 90's , icons like prince , MJ , Madonna , etc were the main attraction .
We still visit concerts from them , but also another culture has grown in the concert-area .
Especially here in Europe thousands of people visit huge venues to hear & see dj's creating an atmosphere .

Besides that , the chance can occur that people who are " not that much " into the music of prince might just download & pay for a few numbers from the 3121 album . As hard as that is to imagine , but it happens .

I just think that every album has it's own sign of the times .
