Freaks, Fans, fams, friends, Purple Peeps, "fags," call um what u want but one thrill I get out of Prince's music is the people I have met who share the same interest as I do. In the past few years I have had the pleasure of meeting people from the celebration, the org and all over the net who are the nicest, most caring, individuals I have ever encountered. So I just wanted to take time out to say how much I appreciate you and everything you do. You are beautiful people and I Love you dearly. Special shout out to My new found friendships of Barbara (Purplepositivity)& Prince (Purplelove7) founders of Florida's own Prince group Children Of The Sun. They rescued me from a very harsh situation. They took me in with open arms and that is what Love 4 One Another is all about.

Your post is so true! The people I met at the Celebration were really WONDERFUL! Before I left to come back to GA I came home with lots of memories and email address I plan on using!! I hope I made a lasting impression on people because I will always remember everyone I met! :K:

i have to agree, that is half the draw to going to the celebration. there is nothing like sharing that purplelove that runs thru us when we come to the park to play

since i got back into Prince again a few years ago and began visiting the Org, i have been blessed to meet some very wonderful, special people who have since become real friends to me. it's great to have friends who share the love of Prince but it goes even past that..i, too, feel like the love and friendship of these dear people i've met 'rescued' me from some recent past years of lonliness and sadness that i went through. i am truly thankful for their friendship and the joy they've given me.

and at the Celebration this year i met even more kind, terrific people, people who i look forward to seeing again next year.

i can honestly say that all the 'Prince people' i've been fortunate enough to meet have been GREAT...all positive experiences.

Prince people are the best.
