Nobody knows until Prince actually starts touring as his own headliner rather than backing Tamar. But I fully expect the band will be the same - hell, the reason he made more money than Madonna in 2004 was because he was prudent enough to keep the production relatively simple, so I don't see him taking two bands on the road, too expensive!

well being that he himself said that he is "inviting some old friends" i dont think it is tamar's band..more than likely tamar's band will be backing her as an opening...i heard through the grapevine that wendy and lisa were gonna be there..hopefully no one gets PMS between now and then and it doesnt change lol

Well, of course Wendy & Lisa played with him at the Brits, but from comments on their website after it seemed like it was a one-off.

Old friends could just mean Mike Scott on guitar (although he of course was on the last tour) and Morris Hayes back on keyboards, but we'll see...

the same person that told me they were playing the brits before anyone knew about it...is the same person who told me they were going to be on the tour...so we shall see.

Oh yeah, I know, Madonna played less dates to less people but charged far far higher ticket prices and her show was a more expensive production.

Prince played more dates to more people and charged far lower ticket prices and was a less expensive production.

So taking all that on board, Madonna grossed more than Prince but made less actual profit.

I do hope Wendy & Lisa tour with Prince, it would be fantastic to see them in real life finally! At their performance at the Brits, people were saying anybody could play their parts, but I thought Lisa's piano playing, if you listen out for it, was beautiful, and let's face it, fans have far more interest in them than anyone he could get to fill their places.
