You're blowing this way out of proportion. Prince is allowed to take a publicity photo with the Twins...jimmeny crickets. He's allowed the photo the twins in a mirrored bathroom. I love how you're all experts in JW.

I don't understand what people are so up in arms about. Wasn't it just a year ago people were complaining that Prince had become boring, like an old man, overly religious, ect...now that he has some pretty ladies on his arm, having them pose in suggestive photos, seemingly becoming like the Prince of yesteryear everyone is concerned. I'm just happy he is not turning into Tony Bennett.

Look, Prince and Manuela didn't have the best 2005. I don't think it was personally a very good year for him overall either.

This is Prince we're talking about. I don't know if he's legally married, or if they swing, or if it's strictly business, and frankly I don't care about any of that. Two things I do know, though, is that Prince loves women, and that he's always prided himself on being a walking dichotomy. Honestly, what could you expect if you married Prince? You know who he is and what he's about. You still wanted to buy the ticket, so don't complain about the ride. Personally, I'm ecstatic to see him back up to his old tricks...whatever it takes to get the creative process moving is cool in my book. Whatever is between he and is wife is strictly that.

Salma's portrayal of women is far more in line with what I think respectin a woman is about.

IMO, I agree that there isn't anything overtly "trampy" about the bathroom photo -- but a couple of those recent pictures from the NPGMC site - like where they're intertwined with one another (um, how many 25 year old sisters sit around like that?), and the one where the one twin is on the floor with her hand up her sister's leg - go just a bit beyond merely women asserting their sexuality. Those poses are getting into the weirdo titillation neighborhood, and you can't tell me Prince doesn't KNOW THAT. As much as I love Prince and his music, I'm not blinded to the fact that he often objectifies women, and not always in a flattering manner.

Yeah, I don't go to the NPG club much myself. I only saw those photos because they were posted on another thread here on the Org.

And yep, that's all anybody can do, is relate their opinions or impressions of a particular subject based on their own experiences or knowledge. It's cool to hear everyone's individual take on stuff.

I saw this coming once Mani did that solo photo shoot. She used to be joined to him @ the hip, but she was nowhere to be found after New Year's. The split up is inevitable. P is on to fresher meat. I hope Mani finished law school while she was with him. I heard she dropped out when they married. She's gonna need to support herself.
