If I was forced to save only one of my VINYLS from a fire, I would likely grab the I Wish U Heaven 12"
it's just my favorite thing ever...

it's just my favorite thing ever... Big co-sign on that one. If I actually own a frickin' vinyl, that would be my immediate choice. An absolute favorite. Ooh, little darlin' if you're

Umm, both? basic answer: the first 5 albums. geeky answer: any of the 12" singles that came out between, ohh, '82 and '88, with the 12" for "sexy dancer" thrown in for good measure.

Looks like I've done pretty good for myself. Still searching for the 12" of Sexy Dancer, though. Ooh, little darlin' if you're

"sd" isn't too terribly hard to find...you won't be able to find it at a used wrecka sto'. yer best bet to find a copy will most likely be on ebay or something. i got my copy from a friend of mine a couple summers ago for $50.

PARADE !!!!! | |

parade-- now that I have the vinyl, I don't even play the CD version anymore.

I have everything on vinyl up through SOTT and most of the 12"s, but I don't think I have SD. However, I don't think I'm willing to spend $50 for it unless I can unload something else I have in duplicate (I've got a couple) for about the same price.
As far as an absolute must, I'd have to say Mountains 12" personally. Or whatever has Another Lonely Christmas as the B-side. I've gone to find myself. If I should return before I get back, keep me here.

Parade and the Rainbow Kidz...Although, I guess the Rainbow Kidz lp is hard to find, since it lists for $100 in the new Goldmine LP Price Guide. Occupy Alphabet Street!

As far as vinyl goes, the must own one is definitely 'Sign O The Times'.
It totally blows the CD out of the water with regard to sound quality, plus of course it's probably the best album he's made.

My favourite vinyls are Dirty Mind LP, Vanity 6 LP, Mountians 12" & A Love Bizare 12".
Dirty Mind is the perfect vinyl in my opinion.

Sing O The Times is my favourite Prince album for vinyl especially since the CD version sounds so much weaker in comparison due to a low volume level.
1999 is a MUST too. Parade is next.

I think Gold Experience is a good one. Rainbow Children on vinyl is one of my faves, as is the Symbol album.

I pretty much only own four Prince vinyls: Purple Rain, Parade, Lovesexy and Partyman/Feel U Up, so I dunno if I'm qualified to answer this question It is not known why FuNkeNsteiN capitalizes his name as he does, though some speculate sunlight deficiency caused by the most pimpified white guy afro in Nordic history.
