Prince and 60 minutes

Is there any truth to him being on 60 minutes?

I know that there is talk of it. My co-worker, M, has a friend that works for 60 Minutes & the friend told M that they are arguing over who will have to do the research for the story. No one wants to work on it b/c they think Prince will back out, or the interview will fall through and they will have had to do a bunch of work for nothing. (I guess a lot of interviews fall through.) I told M to tell her friend they should definitely try to do it and if they need suggestions on what to ask I would poll the org (and would even be willing to consult! lol )

Haven't heard the latest though. I will ask M. again next Tuesday when we are back at work.

Since I'm not known for having "scoops", I understand if you think it sounds fishy--but there is no benefit for me to lie. cool
The check. The string he dropped. The Mona Lisa. The musical notes taken out of a hat. The glass. The toy shotgun painting. The things he found. Therefore, everything seen–every object, that is, plus the process of looking at it–is a Duchamp.

It doesn't sound fishy at all... in fact, this was mentioned in the promo sheet for 3121 around a month ago. NPG Music Club clarified that this promo sheet was more of a 'wish list' than fact - it also mentioned Oprah and Ellen, I believe.

It would be great if 60 Minutes got Prince!

My co-worker actually mentioned it to me b/f the wish list came out, but I didn't post anything b/c I was waiting until I had more concrete information. But since people are asking...I figured I may as well contribute what I know for sure.

Well it was on the Universal promotional draft that was leaked (couldn't be bothered trying to find it again, but it was on housequake.com few weeks back). It mentioned 60 Minutes, SNL, Ellen and a few others as possible "targets".

60 Minutes is not going to soft pedal any questions.

He'll back out because he knows he can stop them from playing hardball.

I reallly dont think that 60 Minute general audience really knows or cares who Prince is. It just seems like strange combo to me.

you would be surprised. The fact of the matter if prince does 60 minutes every one here at the org will watch it.
