And the next single should be....

"Lolita"....Yeah, I know some of the Org ain't loving it, but hear me out...

If Prince is smart he will release "Lolita" as his next single...The shit is a fun ass pop-funk song that's too catchy to pass up, cheesy '80s keyboards and all (I would take out the call and response though)...If he's really in a zone P will recruit Spike Jonze to shoot the video that would be all over the video channels and win some awards....

I can just picture it now: Prince, with a long, feathered old school hair-do on Soul Train circa 1970-80...Don Cornelius' holding the mic; The Soul Train Sramble Board; A few guest celebrities dancing in the Soul Train Line (Beyonce anyone???)...Damn homie, you should should pay me for this shit.....

Michael Rowed "The Boat" ashore.
News: Prince pulls his head out his ass in the last moment.
Bad News: Prince wasted too much quality time doing so.

I did not hear 3121 yet, but I am sure he will release some stupid balad as his third single. I don't know why he keeps on releasing slow songs as singles.

if The Man has half a brain he'll release "Lolita" as the next single. It's the most poppy fun record on the album. "Love" is my next choice.

Much as I love 3121 and think it's his best, most accessible album in years, those two choices above stand the best chance for success in pop radio. Anything else--as much as I love the tunes---wouldn't work.

Love and Lolita would both do well as singles.

Love would have to be edited to make it a viable single, due to it's length.

I reckon Lolita may be the next single, though I fully expect the media in the UK to tell us that Prince is copying Outkast.

You know how it is these days mad
So look into the mirror, do u recognise some1? Is it who u always hoped u would become, when u were young?

"Love"

and "The Word" should be released before it's all said and done -- great song & message

As much as it's not my favorite, Incense & Candles seems like has the best chance at being a (minor) hit. Britney hasn't had a hit with that "Love" sound in ages, so why would Prince be able to?

Still have no idea why Black Sweat didn't catch fire here, though.

Im sorry i think Lolita wouldnt make a blip on radio or billboard oh and i know no one cares bout radio play or billboard charts, unless of course it bullets. Then its all WooHoo, and Hell Yeah.

Anyway I dont think anything on this cd would come close to top 25, its just not that kind of cd. Black Sweat is the only song that had a prince vibe that could have made a dent or at least get some props that could help the next single.

I just dont think this cd will bode well.

And Im not dissin 3121, I like most of it. I just dont see it going anywhere commercially.
