If any of you are Art Majors and have ever participated in critiques, you may have experienced the displeasure of having your work slammed and ridiculed. It happens occasionally.
I think the extreme amount of criticism on this site (my posts included) would be very discouraging to Prince. I know there are times when my teacher totally ripped apart my work, and it totally killed my inspiration and enthusiasm about what I do. It takes alot of oomph to pick apart the constructive ideas from the harsh comments. I can't imagine P finding alot of pleasure in reading this site. In fact I would compare it to looking at an F on one of your tests. Its not something you wanna see. | |

This question has been asked time and time again...but I remember an interview where Prince said his staff looked at the forums and he at one time tried 2 unify a group of people in a chatroom who were arguing over whether he was still funky. And we all know...more than likely, that was the org chat. 
Hopefully he DOESNT scan the threads---I wouldn't want him 2 get the wrong idea of what I think of him! Very hard 2 communicate on the internet HOW u wanted it 2 come out! | |

Can someone please explain to me why people who don't approve of some of Princes' behaviorial things are "negative Prince haters"? Seriously, I LOVE Prince, and if I want to critique his behavior that's my God given right, the same way I can critique any of the people I know and love. No human is infalable. Get over it. Besides, it isn't Prince that causes me to spew negativity when I do. It's his rabid fans who think he's perfect. I bet there is not a person on here NOT ONE that doesn't love Prince. There are other dicussion groups for people who have other intersts, for crying out loud!
In truth I'm kinda disapointed in Princes' fan base. I had always thought of Prince as attracting liberals and freaks, but appearently 70% of his audience is rich, white, christian, americans, who listened to him as their only form of rebellion they've ever expereinced. "ooh, he said 'Pussy', Oooh he said 'Masturbate'" That's too bad, so sad. Give me Ani DiFranco fans any day. lol.  | |
