I think he probably does check things out from time to time. I remember way back in the day when I was a stupid AOL user (hehe!) and people in the Paisley Park Chat Room and the message boards there were suspicious of Prince, or someone close to him, visiting at times. You know he's more than likely an internet user, so why not think that he visits this place sometimes? Just my .02.

Berry, the fact that this is an INDEPENDENT fan community means that sensualmelody can say anything she pleases in regards to Prince. Anybody who checks this place often enough knows to take what is said here with a grain of salt. Furthermore, I think that she is telling the truth. However, regardless of whether you believe that, there is no line to be crossed pertaining to discussing Prince here. If it doesn't come from an official source, I'm sure not even Prince cares what is said.

I have read from people who were close to him that he used to read EVERYTHING that was written about him so why would that have changed now? As recently as last year he was bringing local journalists into the park to chastise them for what they wrote about them.

I would say of course he visits. We all know about Prince and his ego so I can imagine he scans the place sometimes. At the very least he has other people look over the different sites just to see what people are saying. However I do not think it is done as a form of feedback if not more for his own psyche and all that other esoteric bullshit.

As far as the 20 year anniversary of Purple Rain you can forget about it. You need to look back at the Purple Rain era in the life of Prince as a great moment that will never be recreated again. It is just like Woodstock, they should have stopped where it began. You cannot repeat great moments like that. Purple Rain is nothing but a reflection of who Prince was.

I am not saying I dislike his evolution in music, but as a person, well, that is a whole other story in itself.
