What do you think is one of Prince´s worst lyric/line?
Wich one makes you skip the song and makes you think "P,
what were you thinking?!?!?! "

(Will mention mine later on...don´t want to start a certain discusion again.)

From Don't Play Me. That line is so dumb and dull. It doesn't fit in the song, and he just added 'motherfucking' to make the line complete.

Any line in french ( like on parade). Sorry Prince, but your pronounciation is awful ( especially the "r"s).
It's obvious that he doesn't speak french.

I feel a little uncomfortable when he uses embryo as a simile, He has done it a couple of times I think, once in She Gave Her Angels (I still think this is one of his most beautiful songs though) and the other time escapes me at the moment. Whether or not they are his "worst" lyrics, I don't know.

I've got a couple, but the only one that comes to mind right now is from Tick, Tick, Bang. Don't get me wrong, I love the song, but it always makes me cringe when he sings "Like this chain around my hip, I want a 24 k relationship." Blech!

Also, I'm not sure if this counts, but "Your face is jamming/Your body's hecka slamming" was not a winner (U Got the Look).

the rap in "the latest fashion"- tryin to beat me's like playin' pool with a rope, for instance. any line from that rap.

I had no respect for that stupid song after that line. Eating like a brontosaurus to rhyme with Delores, i thought i was in a first grade lyric class.

Well, back to the subject. -> "Out of touch? My dear, I am the touch!" on a song which quite perfectly sums up why he was at the time out of touch was just sheer mean irony.

Mine is without a doubt from Muse 2 the Pharoah:

I think when you want to talk about Jews you can NOT
say "Holocaust aside..". That´s impossible!!!

And the other Jew lyrics in TRC, it really made me reconsider the fact that I´m a Prince fan. When I listen to TRC I just pretend I don´t hear that.
