Still, the song sounds so fresh and so funky!

20 years,huh? How time flies.I still remember hearing this song for the first time,at school,of all places.I went nuts! I was somewhat disappointed with the ATWIAD album,so I was thrilled to hear Prince getting back to the funk.

I'll never forget the first time I ever heard "Kiss".

I was a junior in high school. I was waiting for my mom to pick me up after staying for extra help in Math. I had my walkman on, and was staring out the window waiting for my ride. The DJ said, "Here's the new Prince".

The song just blew me away. I remember chuckling at the "Dynasty" reference. Funny how such an outdated reference still works and the song still holds up.
