Past SNLs, February 4, Prince, and you?

Prince has been famous for almost 3 decades now.
Is the "Prince Show" really the only time he's been parodied on SNL?

I find it hard to believe they didn't make fun of some of his other
questionable decisions of the past lol

example: assless pants, naked album cover, "slave" era (...just to name a few)

Also, do you guys think they will dare to do "The Prince Show" this Saturday? biggrin
Id love that

here's a clip if you haven't seen it before

Though the one with Janet Jackson is funnier

i don't remember if he's been parodied on SNL before...i'm sure i'm forgetting something fairly (in)famous from past seasons...though they've had a field day with him on madTV.

I do remember seeing an SNL parody of Prince back in '85 after the "We Are The World" publicity fiasco. I was only ten then and haven't seen it since, but I think it was Billy Crystal pretending to be Prince, with a very very verrrry butch Wendy & Lisa, singing "I Am The World." Other stars like Cyndi Lauper attempted to come and sing, but Wendy & Lisa beat them up so Prince wouldn't have to share the mic. A real swipe at Prince's perceived ego-mania at the time.

I can't think of any others off the top of my head, but In Living Color and madTV had a couple of really funny ones over the years.
