One of my favorite things about him is how open minded he is. Like back in the day when it was important for him to have a racially mixed band with women musicans too. I think that is just fabulous!

How like he went to see up and coming punk bands around clubs in Minneapolis in the early eighties.


How he let Wendy and Lisa introduce him to the Beatles, let Alan Leeds get him into Jazz, and Mayte show him about Bellydance and arabic music.

How he loves James Brown but yet can also enjoy Aerosmith or some classic rock.

I know some people were offended by him dating out of his race but I think his willingness to date white, hispanic women as well as women of his own race...I think that is awsome considering alot of different women he dated had different upbringings and could teach him things.

So many people don't want to grown and learn new things but not Prince. I just love how open minded he is. He is just like a sponge that wants to know everything and get exposed to different people, cultures, music, ect.

Prince is just so cool!

I don't really think anyone could judge anything about Prince's personality unless they knew him in more then just a passing way.

I Love You Krystal. So Smart.... Anyway, I Really Love his Devil May Care Attitude. His Openess to Try New Things,New Styles ,New Ideas.... Never being Stale or Stagnate. Well, I really cannot truly answer that question, since I've never had the opportunity to meet him. However, from what I've gathered from watching a (very) few interviews, I can say I like:
a. his ability to chose his words wisely
b. the way he seems to "really" listen to what the other person says
c. his (seemingly) natural sexiness
d. the intenseness in his eyes
e. the tones in his speaking voice.
f. his artistic courage and (public) show of confidence

if i met him b-4 all the others, he would me 4ever

His past put aside, he has learned to be a friend. Being a good friend is surely a sign that one has grown up

i like how during interviews sometimes he is girly, sometimes he is manly, sometimes he is playful and sometimes quite serious. ah and its funny how he always likes to control.

I think that 1 can access an artist's personality through their music, not 2 mention all the publicity (whether true or not) they receive.

After all these years this is what I love about Prince:

his spirituality. the man has always respected the Almighty.

his sexuality and acknowledgment of both genders within his person.
his humour: Prince is a funny guy; I wish more of this would reveal in his music

his stubborn-ness, i dont think any artist has stood more truly to what they believe than Prince

his prolific-ness (a word?) the man creative juices pump even though the outcome isn't always want his fans want.

Well, first off, Happy late New Year and a late Merry Christmas to everyone; I hope that I did not offend anyone.

Anyway, the thing that I really enjoy about Prince's personality is everything that Krystal touched on in her post. Plus, I like the fact that he was never afraid to try something new. Prince was always peeping new ideas and trying to mix them into his music, and a lot of people hated that about him. Me, I thought that the whole new music thing was cool. And that is why I love his music to this date.
