Prince Looking to tour Europe? (Metro)

According to the Metro (free London newspaper) gossip column, Prince is in negotiations with 'major venues for a tour later in the year'.

Ok, it might not be the most reliable source, but i think there's truth in it.

Prince is coming to Europe!!

"London, i've adopted a name that has no pronounciation.... is that cool with you?"

Hopefully its true, but Prince's past record isn't good.

In the last 10 years, he's talked about touring Europe pretty much every year, yet only ever delivered twice.

We can live in hope!

Judging by his last bunch of albums and most of his performances, I'd think Europe would be happy to be done with him.

you've been to the One Nite Alone tour? have you heard the bootlegs
of his european aftershows from that tour?

best shows by prince ever, those aftershows. they beat Small Club in
some cases.

i for one am glad with this kind of show. JOTY, yes, that was bad in
a very very bad way. i hated those shows. they were the live twin to
the New Power Soul album. but lately, the man's on fire again.

altho, i have to admit, the Musicology tour didn't appeal to me.

What kinda crap is that, "happy to be done with him"? He's still selling lots of tickets here.

Agree. I can do without seeing another 'going through motions' hits show - Give me something like Gold or ONA tours any day.

I read it as well in the Metro- I know that it is gossip, but I believe that there is some truth in it as I haven't heard a gossip loike that in the paper before- They also said that he was going to make a big comeback tihs year in Major venues

I have never really seen P go through the motions. He always gives 100 percent that being said I still can't figure out why people can't see that Musicology shows were for the masses. ONA type tours are for the hardcore fans.

Since Europeans seem more muscially enligten than us Yanks I am pretty sure these upcoming dates will be special.

I saw a good after show last year, but the tour was shitty.

When I'm in Europe, people ask me if Prince is still doing stuff cuz he's not talked about much at all anymore. Seems few people care.
