But seriously - how many people here are going to stop eating those foods now that they're found to carry cancer causing agents?

where'd you read that about chips and fries? they're just fried potatoes from what i can tell.

It was all over the news - potato chips & french fries are among the problem foods. McDonald's, BK, KFC & Wendy's are the worst offenders in that order - at least for fast food chains.

I stopped eating 'Partially Hydroginated Soybean and/or Cotten Seed Oils' long ago. It's a hard thing to cut out, but I'd bet a lot that ya'll don't realise how much of that shit you eat everyday. Soda is a killer too. Don't think it ain't. On the other hand, TV will probably be shown to cause cancer someday, but they'll never tell you about it on the news.

Would it be that bad a thing to give up eating french fries anyway? This country is full of fat people who would supersize just about anything if given the chance. If only french fries & potato chips caused AIDS or herpes or something people actually feared.

If Prince doesn't worry than why should we? Like he says you Better Get Your House in order! Secondly I think he knows about Organic Chips and I can tell you there are some Organic Blue Tortilla Chips out there and Terra Chips that are quite good. Check them out along with some Veggie chips . Delicious!

There's a lot of things that give people cancer. If we stopped doing them all, we'd never have any fun. My mom died of breast cancer. We all know someone who's had it.

that's the most sensible thing... becoming obsessive about not eating things that might give you cancer will probably drive one insane.

It's the way they're heated right? Anyway, they did say more research has to be done, although yea... we all know they aren't the healthiest things to indulge in. One just has to be sensible about these things... I mean, none of us really know what's in any of our foods these days, even the so called healthy food... who knows what's in our fruits and vegetables... everythings a little dodgy if you ask me!

So yea... whatever gets you by I guess... I'll stick to the moderation thing.

I have no problem eating french fries or chips. I don't eat them everyday. I'm not worried about that. A lot of thing cause cancer, including genetics
