I thought I read in the press release that this would not be the 1st single? If it is, give it a chance. Nothing sounds or looks good the first few times around.

In contrary of some of you i think TRC and Musicology have been the best albums since years!!
Songs like The Work, 1+1+1=3 and The Everlasting now should have been major hits...
These songs prove Prince's still can kick ass like no artist can and his songs keep having an enormous groove. I've been to all big concerts these last 2 years; Eminem, Robbie Williams, U2, but non of them gave me the boost like Prince can.

And haven't you all had to play LoveSexy 10 times before understanding and loving it more&more?!
I discover new beauties on older and newer albums every time. Prince has always been ahead of his time...So let's just be gratefull he's still performing and recording, if there's only one perfect song on the new album that's already a gift.

Prince just doesn't provide only easy hits, he's been there...and like he grows we should too.

I just hope&pray he'll start touring fast and come down to Holland for some shows!

Personally, I would love it if the commercial album is one disc, but the download version is a 3-disc version, with the single-disc tracks spread throughout. That way, fans can get a ton of material, with the most commercial available on a single disc. Plus many fans would still buy the CD for the CD-quality, in which case they're making twice the purchase...

I don't see this happening, but just in case I figured I'd throw it out there today rather than wait until after tomorrow.

Apparently Universal Music Germany has sent out a press release about 'Te amo corazon' and the new album.

The most interesting thing is that the album will come out in April 2006.

Also, the title '3121' has a religious meaning.

I know most people here will download "Te Amo Corazón" from NPG Music Club or buy the single. However, those in the UK and probably the rest of Europe too (at least I know the service works in Iceland ) can download the track NOW!

Plus there's a 30 sec. sound sample there, different from the ones posted before. And, if I remember correctly, the downloads on that site (7Digital) count on the UK singles chart. The downside though is that the track is more expensive than on NPGMC (0.77 pence) and it's a WMA file so no ITunes support unfortunately.

P.S. Those in the UK without a credit card can buy the track thru SMS.

Very nice track! You gotta love how he keeps trying new things. Strings sound fantastic. And that guitar solo that sounds like it's underwater or something.

It's a nice tune. Absolutely LOVE the strings. Not an instant classic, not hot garbage. A nice song I probably won't skip on the cd. Doesn't seem to be made for Top 40 radio, but what do I know.

I quite like it. Prince does bossa nova! Haven't heard him do much in that vein, so it's a very welcome addition in his catalog. Not sure if it has huge hit potential, but then, I didn't think "Musicology" did either.... Prince is not really a singles artist anymore anyway.
