nah, dont like it. Few tracks are ok, but, its so underproduced (is that a word?) and that puts me off. I expect prince albums to be overproduced lol

Comparing this album to come, i pick come easily.

Regarding "Chaos and Disorder": It always seemed to me that it's John Wayne Bobbit's severed part floating in the toilet bowl. Can anyone confirm this?

We have some funny MFers on the org don't we, this album is pure unadulterated SHIT!!!!!

no it's not. 'i like it there' is a great rock song, 'zannalee' is a really nice guitar track, the title song is fun...it's just not easy spoonfed classic prince pop. it's the kind of music that people these days are bitching he won't do anymore.

i think if it had a prettier cover, more people would like this album.

nod I like "The Same December", too. And "Had U".

no it isn't.
News: Prince pulls his head out his ass in the last moment.
Bad News: Prince wasted too much quality time doing so.

I've only heard a few of the songs on here, but I've really liked what I've heard. I don't see what the hate's all about. It's actually the next album on my list of Prince stuff to get.

its a very enjoyable album , and for my money a better listen than everything he's released since 2000 . I also note people who are trashing the album saying
" it was contract filler " ," even Prince hated it " etc etc , you dont get bonus points in paisley heaven for siding with Prince and disliking his so-called contract-filler albums you know , make up your own minds and don't follow the spin .
Check out Chocadelica , updated with Lotusflow3r and MPLSound album lyrics April 2nd 2009 :

if prince really wanted to give a FU to WB, he would have made a contract filler like lou reed's 'metal machine music', or he would have finally spit out that country album he keeps threatening to make (which i'd love to hear, actually).

prince was too smart and too concerned with his legacy to spit out a purposefully shitty album just to spite warners. down the line, this album will resurface as an obscure little cult classic and the critics will fawn over how overlooked it was. mark my words.

By the way, due to its bad fame you can get it very cheap. Besides Emancipation its the cheapest thing by P.available everywhere. cool

A country album, that sounds good. wink I believe Dylan could cover Rasberry Beret very nicely.
