I listen to it no matter what time of the year it is. I haven't listened to it for months though.

I put it on a CD of Christmas music that I play every year. It's right between The Emotions' "What Do The Lonely Do At Christmas" and The Jets' "It Doesn't Feel Like Christmas In My Heart".

Speaking of Jehovah's Witnesses....remember when the Jackson 5 made a Christmas album?

I love it, the melancholy feel is quite relistic, and the scream at the end with the blistering guitar work really does it for me, one of my favourite B sides.

Amazing song. Feels real and raw in this melodramatic way, the Prince way. I love it and wouldn't change it for a happier song.

Some people don't have happy Christmasses, and I think this is a much better song about Christmas pain than some "think of the children in Africa"-type guilt trip. (I like Do They Know It's Christmastime At All, but some of the words really annoy me. "Well, tonight thank God it's them instead of you"...! WTF!!??)
