But it seems as though his visual style has gone by the way side. that's some of my LEAST favorite design, though the digipack with the liner notes booklet was a little ambitious, i'll admit...as was the die cut cover of NEWS, to an extent...but with TRC, they just slapped on a painting that i've seen hanging in frame shops here in chicago for some time, and a caricature of prince from an old magazine article got slapped on the CD. and the fonts/lettering? ugh, forget it. but i guess the sum of it all was somewhat original it its own rickety way... | |
