1999. i kept thinking the same thing "if i buy this, they will be
onto a new extended package in no time".

so let's hope you've done the trick now and saved me the hassle of
having to buy it too.

I've had "The Hits" on VHS since it was first released. When I heard it was available on DVD, I had to get one of the record stores to order it because I couldn't find it anywhere. I ordered it in June and didn't hear from the record store for weeks. Finally, I asked them about it and one of the clerks had accidently put it on the shelves the day it came in and sold it within hours after it came in. I re-ordered it and waited for months and heard nothing. I finally asked about it in October and one of the other clerks re-ordered it for me on a Saturday. The following Tuesday, it came in. That clerk was good.

I do wish there were more videos on it though. The following videos need to be released:

Im so glad I held out

but don't fret! Im pretty sure most os us here have the Hits DVD and if
a better version with more videos is ever released
