who is better rhythm player nile rogers from chic or prince while i absolutly adore prince's guitar playing,i find nile rogers to be much funkier rhythm guitar player.

I agree. Nile IS the man. And I do think his rhythm guitar playing is better than Prince's. Prince is more talented in general, but Nile was the master of funky rhythm guitar back then (and he's a great producer, as well). |

nile gets a little corny with his chorus effects...i think tony maiden from rufus is just as good or better...and between nile and prince i will take prince...he plays a little less predictable than nile... | |

Apples and oranges. It's all on who u prefer. Both are excellent rhythm players. I love Niles to death. I do think though, P is more versatile as a rhythm guitarist. SynthiaRose said "I'm in love with blackguitaristz. Especially when he talks about Hendrix."
